Fly-ln Canoe Trips

What better way to spend 7 days than travelling the water routes of this grand country the way the early explorers did! This is the area Grey Owl as well as many other trappers traversed in search of furs, gold and a life-style that was truly harmonious with nature.

We have over 50 canoe routes to choose from in the Temagami area. There are routes to challenge the novice as well as the expert canoeist.

We can supply:

The flight from our base to the starting point.

The canoes, paddles, life jackets, maps, route description outlining portages, rapids, etc.

The flight from the finishing point back to our base.

Fly-in fishing to outpost camps

You and your party are flown to one of our outpost camps for rest, relaxation and fishing. The camps are comfortably equipped with propane refrigerator, stove & lights.

We supply:

Transportation from the airbase and return.

Fully equipped outpost cabin with fridge, stove, cooking utensils, boats and motors and fuel.

You supply:

Food and refreshments

Fishing gear

Sleeping bags

Combination fly-in Fishing hunting trips to outpost camps

These trips are available on a seasonal basis as

Fishing - Moose hunt. October only

Sleeping bags

Weight Allowance: 75 lbs. per person.

We supply:

Transportation from the airbase and return.

Transportation as required for moose.

Fully equipped outpost cabin with fridge, stove, cooking utensils, boats and motors and fuel.

Help keep our campsites clean. Please be sure that all garbage including rolled plastic is brought back to the airways. Thank you.

Wilderness Retreat - Nature Viewing

May 1 - October 31

Duration: 3 days, 7 days

Party Size: 2 - 6 people (cabins can sleep six)

Fly-in to a remote outpost cabin (one cabin per lake maximum). Excellent bird, wildlife, nature viewing/photography, painting, star gazing, canoeing opportunities. One marked plasticized lake map with description of surrounding landscapes/features, trails, prime-viewing areas or point of interest sites will be provided. Pre-trip instructions with written notes will be offered.

We Supply:

Propane fridge, 4 burner hotplate stove and lights.

Wood stove, bunk-type beds with foam mattresses, fire extinguishers.

All dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

Canoe (one per two persons), paddles, personal floatation devices and propane.

You Supply:

Sleeping bags

Food and refreshments

First aid kit

Hunting Licence

Licence fees are not included in our prices. Do not forget to bring your expired or current hunting licence from your home State or Country - it is needed to prove that you can handle guns and to obtain a licence to hunt in Ontario. To allow enough time to get your licence we suggest it is best to arrive early, possibly one day before you fly-in.

Note - hunters who do not bring a current or expired licence must pass a test at the local government office re hunters safety and gun handling.
